Note In Outlook for Mac 2011 version 14.2.4 and earlier versions, data was appended to the same log file for every Outlook session. In Outlook for Mac 2011 version 14.2.5 and later versions and in Outlook 2016 for Mac, every time that you quit and start Outlook when logging is enabled, a new log file is created.
I’ve got several POP3 accounts configured in Outlook. One account I only use for sending (someone else monitors the incoming messages and forwards it to the correct person and we reply with the general company account). How can I tell Outlook not to include this account when receiving? To configure a Send Only account, you must first configure it as any normal account. Once you’ve completed setting up the account, you must modify your Send/Receive group configuration in the following way. Outlook 2007 and previous Tools- Options- tab Mail Setup- button Send/Receive. Outlook 2010, Outlook 2013 and Outlook 2016 File- Options- Advanced- button Send/Receive. In the Send/Receive Groups dialog press the Edit button.
In the left section, select the account for which you want to modify the send/receive settings. In the Account Options section you can disable the option for “Receive mail items”. Press the OK button until you have closed all open dialogs.
